This is the first poem that I wrote after Kyra died.

I Will Never Leave You!!

Today was a day like no other
This was the day I would be her mother
My baby girl was on her way
But she would not be here to stay

I did not completely understand
This was not part of our plan
My baby's heart stopped beating
God so quickly she would be meeting

She looked so beautiful
As I held her near
God I asked "Why Us"?
This was my only fear

Kyra answered me by saying
Mommy don't worry I am up here playing
The world that surrounds me is beautiful, it's true
There is so much up here for me to do.

Not all things right now seem fair
Cause God knew you also loved me there
He promises to help you with your pain
So you know I did not die in vain

He did not take me to be mean
God has a greater plan for me
I am your guardian angel, yes it's true
I am the one he sent to watch over you

I love you Mommy and Daddy
Please tell Alex and Shania too
I know they do not understand
Tell them I am the angel holding their hand

So, when everyone is ready to cry
Just remember I am the angel by their side
I will not leave you, you will see
I will be with you now and thru eternity.

This next poem I had written out of frustration for how the
world thinks that we can so easily forget about our Angel.
How the world thinks that you should just move on and
pick up your life from where it was before the death.

I Will Not Forget Her!!

God surrounds me with his love
and precious angels from up above

If your words were meant to hurt me
just so you know that will not be

I am blessed with words of love
Sent by my angel who is up above.

She will protect me from what others say
and allow me to go on with my day

My angel knows that she is always loved and in my heart
That no matter what is said, she was there from the start

I will not forget her, no matter how hard you try
To distract me from my precious angel by my side
